Lighting Tips:

When lighting a bedroom, living room, or den, a flush or semi-flush ceiling mount should be at least 15 inches in diameter. Smaller fixtures can be used to effectively light closets, pantries, or storage areas.

When lighting a hallway, place ceiling fixtures 8 to 10 feet apart, and be sure they are at least 7 feet from the floor.
